INFORMATION & ADVICE ABOUT HOME LEARNING

STAY IN TOUCH WITH OUR NEW OBS YEAR GROUP EMAIL ADDRESSES:

We have created 8 NEW Year Group email addresses that are linked to each year groups class teachers. These are for you to send in any pictures, videos, examples of your children’s ‘Home Learning Activities!’

Pupils will then receive an individual email of praise back from their class teacher and your picture/video will appear on your Year Groups Home Learning Page! I’ll be sending another MM attachment about use of the email address shortly. Please do take a few minutes to read it; it will also be repeated on the home learning page.

SUMMER 1 – HOME LEARNING ACTVITIES

Home learning activities will start again from Monday 20th April for each year group in school! There will be 3 activities each day! Following on from our parent questionnaire results (sent out to you all earlier this week) there will now be teacher led: links, demonstrations and explanations to lots of the Literacy and Maths based tasks. Feel free to email any work that your child has completed or is particularly PROUD of to their teacher using the email addresses listed above.

Just as before the Easter Holidays, these tasks and activities are there to help support you as parents, to allow you to have some structure and routine to each day. Following the results again from our parents survey, 66% of you are accessing these Home Learning activities between 3-5 days every week – WHICH IS FANTASTIC! WELL DONE AND THANK YOU!

They are all optional activities, for you to access over this 5 week half term, for you to do and to access as you see fit. We continue to be very aware and supportive of the fact that each home circumstance is different, whilst also aware of the amount of schooling all of our OBS pupils are missing. We want to continue to try our very best to cater for all of our families.
