Literacy-This week we are going to be thinking about writing instructions. Use the template below to make an Egyptian Sarcophagus. Then, Follow the instructions to decorate your sarcophagus.

Literacy- I hope you enjoyed making your sarcophagus yesterday. Today, I would like you to write clear instructions telling someone else how to make one. Think carefully about all of the steps. Below is a checklist of things to include and help with an introduction for your instructions.

Literacy-Now you should be really good at giving instructions! For fun today can you give clear instructions to your adult so that they draw the picture below? You need to be really clear and say exactly what to draw and where to draw it.
Eg:
-In the top right hand side of your paper draw a circle which is about 2 cm in diameter (across the middle).
Continue your instructions and at the end see if your adult has drawn the picture correctly. Good luck, this is tricky!
Challenge: Ask your adult to draw a simple picture and give you clear instructions on what to draw!
