Writing pattern fun! On a sheet of paper, make a sea background by drawing careful wavy lines in blues and greens. On another sheet draw a boat outline and fill it with different patterns. Stick it on your sea background. Remember to hold your pens correctly! ***** |

Make some origami paper boats (instructions below). Can you make flags to label the 0-5? Try writing the numeral on one side and drawing the dice pattern on the other side. Can you put your boats in order? ***** |
Watch the Numberblocks song ‘5 Little Boats’ Draw 5 boats and label them. Hide your eyes and ask your gown up to muddle them up. Can you sort them back into the correct order? ***** |

Float or Sink? Get a bucket or bowl of water. Will your origami boats float? With your grown up, find 5 things that float and 5 things that sink. Take a picture to show us what you found! |
