On Tuesday and Thursday, we have learnt a lot about inverted commas. Your task today is to write about the first conversation you will have with your best friends in September.
Example: I excitedly ran up the large hill, towards the school gates. Mrs Shaw was waiting at the top, with a huge smile on her face.
“Good Morning Michael, it’s great to see you!” beamed Mrs Shaw
I walked sensibly into school seeing all the teachers I really missed, especially Mr Hill. He greeted me at the door to the classroom with a huge smile as I walked in! I then saw John and I walked quickly over to him.
“Hi John, how are you? I’m so glad to be back, I missed you.” I spoke.
“Michael, I’m really good thank you, so happy to be back. I’m really looking forward to playing football at break time. Did you do any of the teacher challenges?” John asked.
