It was a very busy recognition time today due to me missing last week!  That said, it was fantastic to be surrounded by pupils who have gone above and beyond at school, both in the classroom and outside.  A special mention to Samuel who we praised today as he will now be representing Nottingham City in Cross Country after coming 8th in a race of 200! - well done!

When asking the pupils about what they enjoy at school, a wide variety of reasons were given:

- OPAL play as there are lots of activities we can do

- Phonics as we learn to read

- PE - football, gymnastics, dance

- Literacy as we write stories

I also asked about what we can do to improve school and pupils spoke about more active learning.

Well done to all the pupils who received a certificate, sticker and prize today!
