Message from Headteacher
A very warm welcome to the new parents who will be joining Old Basford School from September 2025.
We are a 480 place school, with 2 classes in every year group and also have a nursery provision available from the term after a child turns 3 years old. In addition, we offer breakfast club from 7:45am and after school club until 6:00pm - if this is something you would be interested in, please see the dedicated website page for more information and then contact the school office.
It might help your child to have a look at the class pages (Class 1 & Class 2), where they will see what the current pupils are learning, as well as keeping up to date with whole school news on with the newsletters and Headteacher updates.

We would love to welcome you and your child into our Early Years Unit. Here at Old Basford School we pride ourselves on the opportunities we offer the children through our indoor and outdoor learning environments. Each child is celebrated as a unique individual and encouraged to fulfil their full potential as young learners.
