    Meet our PLT!

So far this term, the PLT have been involved in lots of exciting things:

MacMillian coffee morning - On Friday 26th September, PLT helped out at our MacMillan coffee morning where we proudly raised £173.20. They were a fantastic asset in helping to ensure the event ran smoothly.

Community planting - On Wednesday 15th October, PLT were invited over to the new community site opposite school, where we met Iain Turner from Nottingham City council and Jack Harris from ‘Grow Notts’. We were involved in learning about the new space and helped with planting the beds which the children loved! They also created their own wild seed packets and were given wild seeds to take home so that they could grow their own wild flowers.

Children in Need - On Friday 14th November, PLT arranged our annual charity event for Children In Need. All children and staff in school came dressed in sporty wear and took part in a ‘challenge themselves activity’. Despite the pouring rain on the day which meant we couldn’t use the playground to complete the activities, all year groups managed to complete them in the hall. The children were asked to donate cakes and every child received a cake in exchange for a £1 donation. The left over cakes were sold after school and we raised an amazing £401.56.

KS1 Disco - Tuesday 18th November, PLT offered their help at the KS1 disco, they proved to be invaluable in selling snacks and helping with the younger children.

Prospective F2 Parents and Carers meeting - On Wednesday 12th November, PLT supported SLT in welcoming the new prospective F2 parents and carers.

Achieve Well Award - On Tuesday 18th November, PLT were fantastic at presenting to Fred Morris for the Achieve Well Award and also completed pupil voice as part of this work.
