VE Day
We marked the 80th anniversary of VE day by spending the day learning about the important occasion. Children came to school dressed in red, white and blue, had lunch on the field in the style of a street party (1940's music included) and marked the 2-minute silence as a whole school. Every class also made their own bunting to decorate the school. A big thank you to those who brought in family artefacts from WW2 - it has been amazing sharing these with classes.
