This term, the PLT have been involved in lots of exciting things:

Comic Relief – taking a lead in deciding the theme for the school for this year’s non-uniform day and deciding how school can help raise money. They overwhelmingly chose for the red theme and for children to donate cakes to sell in school. PLT will also be helping organise the cakes and donations on the day. Well done, we raised £460 for Comic Relief!

Playground survey – PLT took part in a local research survey based on playground games in schools. They carried out research in the playground during break times using survey which will be shared with a group who are recreating the book ‘Blue Bell Hill Games’, which was originally published by a local headteacher in 1982.

Bus Stop landscaping – PLT were involved in a meeting with the architects designing the new community space at the bus stop outside school. The architects presented the final designs and had a discussion around PLT and gardening club being involved in the planting and upkeep of the planters.
