It was wonderful to see Old Basford School area band children playing alongside two other schools yesterday; Crabtree and Southwalk. The children were a credit to the school, they worked well as a team, inspired and elevated each others playing. Simply wonderful! They were learning a good mix of musical styles, the songs included Spiderman No Way Home, Wallom Green and Tumba Palo. We have got to admit our favourite is Tumba Palo which is an Afro-Cuban song, it really gets you moving and a grooving.
