Our children in Foundation, Key Stage 1 and Year 4 enjoyed a special story assembly with Councillor Mellen (Leader of Nottingham City Council). This week Councillor Mellen is undertaking a very special challenge and reading to lots of children across the city to raise funds for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library; a scheme that delivers a free book every month to children from birth up to 5 years of age. We were lucky enough to be one of the schools he visited and we thoroughly enjoyed listening to the stories read to us.
