Yesterday, 10 very talented athletes from year 5 travelled to Harvey Hadden to take part in an athletics competition. 

 

There were 11 other teams that took part in this competition and OBS came THIRD! The 5 boys and 5 girls all took part in 4 events and the highest scores were carried through into our grand total that influenced the medal table. The children had to complete- 

50 METRES SPRINT

400 METRES RUN

MINI VORTEX HOWLER THROW

STANDING LONG JUMP

as well as a relay race. 

 

We are all so proud of the determination, resilience and sportsmanship shown when competing.
