  • BASKETBALL TEAM WIN AGAIN & 3 PLAYERS MAKE THEIR DEBUT FOR SCHOOL!

    Congratulations to the seemingly unstoppable OBS Basketball Team! Tonight they played both Blessed Robert Widerpool Primary and St Peters Primary continuing their unbeaten run this season! They won both matches through excellent individual skills, outstanding team interplay and passing. The first match they one 29-8, the second 31-10. A huge well done to Abbie, Declan and Christian who all made their debuts for school tonight AND EACH SCORED A BASKET! Fantastic stuff!
  • OUR NEW OBS AFTER SCHOOL KIDS CLUB IS A HIT!

    This week OBS launched, after much anticipation, our OBS KIDS CLUB! We are now providing an after school club, with a vast array of fun activities, each night after school until 6pm for our pupils! Thank you for the overwhelmingly positive comments from both parents and pupils alike! Here are just comes of the activities the pupils have got up to this week.
  • NEW SCHOOL BUDDY BENCH DESIGN REVEALED

    After setting the all the pupils here at OBS the challenge of designing two signs for our new Buddy Benches that School Council have introduced; our winning designs have now been created in to real signposts that Mr Martyn will be putting up on our yard next week! Thank you to the very talented Katie Fraser (one of our school volunteers) for using her exceptional artist skills to bring the children's designs to life! We shared the finished signposts this afternoon with all pupils in assembly. The entire hall smiled and applauded, I know they are all looking forward to the Buddy Bench coming in to action from Monday next week! (Great thinking School Council!)
  • WHAT A COLOURFUL DAY WE HAD!

    Thank you to everyone who dressed up in colourful clothes and donated cakes for our first ever F.O.B.S and Rainbow Hospice fundraising day. It was lovely to see so many people joining us for cake and a hot drink and a chat . We are pleased to announce that because of your incredible generosity , we are able to donate a cheque of £270 to Rainbows Hospice!
  • YEAR 6 LEARN CPR

    This afternoon all of our Year 6 Pupils, as a part of the 'Healthy Heart Project' (in which they are currently participating in) learnt how to respond when someone is unconscious. 

    Sarah our first aider commented upon all the pupils excellent listening skills, maturity and they way in which they followed instructions carefully. PROUD!

  • Tilly the tortoise FOUND!

    It is with great pleasure that I can announce that Tilly has been found and is now back, safe and sound, in the mobile. Tilly was found under the mobile classroom, having escaped from her outdoor play area, and had to be rescued! Thanks to everyone who helped with the hunt and rescue, and a special thanks to Seth and Mathilde, who were the ones who spotted her hidden away. I hope that her 'Tilly adventures' will be a little less stressful in the future!
  • Tilly the tortoise - MISSING!

    Sadly today, in the early part of the afternoon Tilly the tortoise went missing from her outdoor area near the mobile classroom. We hope that she will be found safe and sound soon enough but would like everyone to keep their eyes peeled for her until then.
