  • OBS COMMUNITY MORNING

    Thank you to everyone who attended our Community Morning. We all had a lovely time eating cake and catching up whilst raising an incredible £160 for MacMillan Coffee Morning . Thank you to everyone who donated items for our swap shop , lots of parents were able to take home some useful , good quality items for free. We also had information about a free 10 week course called Equipped 2 Succeed that is available to all members of our community.

  • YEAR 6 ACTIVE BOYS FESTIVAL

    A group of Year 6 boys took part in the Year 6 active boys festival at Harvey Hadden today; they thoroughly enjoyed the festival and they represented school brilliantly. They were superstars in curling and in the relay race - well done Year 6!

     

     

     

  • OBS MINI MARATHON

    What an incredible afternoon!

    All of our F2, Y1, Y2, Y3, Y4, Y5 and Y6 pupils and staff completed our very own Mini Marathon course. Presenting awards for the top three boys and girls in each year group was Mr Davie (site manager) who yesterday completed the Nottingham Robin Hood Half Marathon. He wore his medal to share with the pupils.

     

    Awards for the most resilience, best encourager and most improved runners will be awarded in year groups tomorrow morning!

     

    The afternoon was filled with a buzz of excitement and encouragement! Resilience by the bag full in race after race!

  • OBS RUNNING CLUB IS BACK WITH A BANG

    A huge well done to the 51 OBS pupils who joined Mrs Shaw and Mrs Heywood for the first before school OBS running club of the academic year!

     

    Each Monday from 8:30-8:45 any pupil from year F2-Y6 can join running club on the KS2 yard to start the week off with fresh air, exercise and time with friends. All whilst improving our fitness and supporting mental wellbeing. PROUD!

  • STEP FORWARD OBS SCHOOL COUNCIL FOR 22/23

    A huge well done to all of the following pupils (who through democratic elections, following a brief presentation to their peers) have been voted to be our OBS 22/23 SCHOOL COUNCIL!

    They'll be stepping in to the roll publicly this Friday by supporting our first Community Event of the year - The Annual OBS MacMillan Coffee Morning.

  • INTRODUCING THE NEW OBS 22/23 ECO COUNCIL

    Congratulations to the following children who have all been voted by their classmates as Eco Representatives for this academic year. Every pupil who wanted to be considered for the role shared a short presentation about why they thought they would be a great OBS Eco Councillor.

    Well done to all children who put themselves forward for the opportunity. PROUD!

    I know Mrs Pickup is very excited to be working alongside you all and has lots to share with you.

  • Year 6 Dodgeball Festival

    On Thursday a group of 10 Year 6 children took part in the city dodgeball festival, playing games against 7 other school. The children had a great day and were certainly tired out by the time they got back to school. Great work everyone!
