    Girls 5-aside City Finals.

On Tuesday we took our girls football team to the City finals. This was a big achievement even to be there after qualifying in 2nd place. The girls were amazing but unfortunately goals win games and we struggled in this area. The girls finished 5th out of all the teams that started. We are extremely proud of them as they were resilient all the way through. We look forward to next Tuesday, as we play Southwark in a league play off match, to see who wins the league due both schools finishing on the same points. Squad, Tait, Georgia, Casy-Leigh, Lillie-May, Mojet, Nyah and Esme.

  • MAB Year 5 Area Band Performance

Thu 17 Mar 2022 Mrs Kelly

    MAB March Area Band Event

Wow! What can I say, it was truly magical for the area bands to get together and play in person. The children had smiles beaming from ear to ear, soaked up the atmosphere and were seen moving to the rhythm. They have been learning the following pieces Jambo Bwana, Lilo and Stich Roller-coaster and Bob Marley’s One Love. The performance gave the children the chance to showcase all the hard work and practice they have been putting in. It even brought happy tears to the parents’ eyes. We are extremely proud of you Area Band, you made Old Basford School very PROUD!
