• Nottingham Forest Women's Football

  We are delighted to announce that our girl's football team has been invited to walk the Nottingham Forest Women's team on to the pitch for their final home game at Eastwood CFC this Sunday. With the Forest Ladies winning the cup last weekend there should be a great atmosphere as well as a chance for our girls to watch some quality players.

  Well done to our 8 Year 5 boys who were chosen to represent the school at the multi-skills festival this afternoon. Miss Lawson said you were all amazing, very competitive and a pleasure to take. 

  

• The field is back!

  Year 3 and Year 6 had a fun lunchtime on the field; the first of 2023!  There was lots of laughter, physical activities and cooperation whilst playing football, building human pyramids and swinging on the trim trail.  Sorry to the grown up's for the dirty knees and trousers!

  What an amazing first week back we have all had in class learning about our new topics.  I was joined today for recognition time by pupils who have gone above and beyond this week in lessons and on the playground - well done.

  During our juice and biscuit chat, we spoke about PE lessons and the pupils shared:

  - they help improve my skills

  - we learn lots of different sports

  - it helps me to burn off energy

  When I asked what their favourite PE lessons were, they shared:

  - football

  - table tennis

  - athletics

  - dance

  - basketball
