  • Huge Cross Country Success!

Wed 18 Jan 2023 Miss Stewart

WOW! What a fabulous and successful afternoon we had at the City Cross Country Championships at Wollaton Hall. Our girls' team won the bronze medals and our boys' team the gold medals. They worked so hard and really pushed themselves working right up to the line. Three pupils even qualified for the Regional Finals in February: Obi who won the boys event (first out of over 130 runners), Caleb who came in 5th and Nyah who got a brilliant 2nd in the girls event. So proud of them all!

  • Recognition Time - 13.1.23

It was fantastic to celebrate with 16 pupils on my first full week as the new headteacher.  There were some pupils who had been recognised by the Midday Supervisors, as well as those within the classrooms by Teacher and Teaching Assistants.  As a group we enjoyed juice and a biscuit and then decided on the following weeks theme - Organised and Tidy.

  • SCIENCE PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION WINNERS

Thu 05 Jan 2023 Miss McCulloch

Back in November, Miss McCulloch (Science Lead) launched an exciting photography competition. The theme of the competition was 'THE WEATHER' and the children were challenged to take an interesting and unusual photograph of some aspect of the weather and bring it into school. Astonishingly, we received over 60 entries across the whole school and Miss McCulloch found it incredibly difficult to pick one winner from each year group! Huge congratulations to the following children whose entries did win and they were rewarded with a 'SCEINCE PARTY BAG' as their prize. The party bag contained a book of science experiments that can be done at home and also the resources needed to conduct the experiments. Well done children!
