• Y2 GYMNASTICS TEAM FINISH 4TH IN CITY FINALS

  Huge congratulations to the Y2 Gymnastics team who this morning competed in the city finals performing 3 separate routines each! They narrowly missed out by just 0.8 from a bronze medal! Each of them represented our school in sport for the very first time! PROUD!

  

• OBS CAREERS DAY - ONE DAY WONDER

  On Friday 3rd May OBS held its 7th O.D.W. (One Day Wonder) enrichment day of the year so far..... Careers Day. As a school that is commitment to encouraging all of our pupils to have high aspirations and our O.B.S. initials stand for Opportunities Bring Success.... what better way to see our pupils aspirations first-hand than for them to come dressed up as what they would like to do in the future as a career. In addition to this we had a FANTASTIC whole school assembly with parent volunteers and a game of 'What's my Line!' (20 questions) where our pupils tried to discover what jobs our 7 volunteers did. After the assembly, all classes throughout the day had guest speakers visit them to tell us and share with us more about their careers.

  A HUGE THANK YOU TO THE MANY VOLUNTEERS WHO MADE TODAY ONE TO TREASURE AND REMEMBER FOR OUR PUPILS BOTH NOW AND INN THEIR FUTURES!

  

• Y6 TABLE TENNIS TEAM DO WELL AT CITY FINALS

  A huge well done to the Y6 Table Tennis team for competing on Thursday 2nd May at the Nottingham City finals! You all represented school so well and clearly thoroughly enjoyed yourselves! PROUD!
