  • SPRING DISSCO

Fri 10 Feb 2023 Mrs Tee

We had a great turn out at our Spring disco this week. As always , there were some great moves on the dance floor and plenty of delicious treats to be enjoyed from the tuck shop. A huge thank you to our DJ Tony and to our F.O.B.S who came to help set up and run the tuck shop . Thank you also to the staff who stayed to ensure that the event ran smoothly. We raised an incredible £520! This will be added to our fundraising mission to subsidise all school trips and residentials to ensure that all of our children at O.B.S get to take part. ( Photos coming soon!)

  • County Schools Cross Country

Sat 04 Feb 2023 Mr Balchin

After running so well at the City Schools Cross Country Competition in January, Nyah, Caleb and Obi qualified to run in the County Cross Country Championship this weekend at Berry Hill Park in Mansfield. They represented OBS and ran on behalf of the City of Nottingham, with all three of them running exceptionally well through a challenging 1,500m course.

We couldn't be more PROUD of them. Well done!

Another lovely recognition time with just 2 pupils, Jacob from F2 and Paris from Y2.  We talked about all that they enjoy about school and the importance of learning.  Jacob was recognised this week for being a super star and Paris for being a brilliant friend.
