  • STAFF VS KIDS (Y6) FOOTBALL MATCH

    Fri 20 Dec 2019

What a BRILLIANT morning! Unfortunately due to the rain we couldn't get outside as we normally would, but … NOTHING STOPS a staff vs kids match here at OBS! Quick as a flash the PE Team adapted the school hall and it was decided to have 6 five minute games, swapping adults and pupils so that everyone who wanted to got to play.

At the end of the 5th 5 minute game, the score was 3-1 to the kids! Byt, miraculously the staff managed to score twice in the last 2 minutes of the final 6th game! This made the score 3-3! It went to EXTRA TIME with 2 two and a half minutes halves! The tension was high! It finished with no additional goals, and a well deserved draw!

    Thu 12 Dec 2019
What a FANTASTIC EVENT TO BE A PART OF!
Our OBS children were impeccably behaved and made Old Basford PROUD! They had such fun when they were on stage playing their guitars and really got into the spirit of the evening. They soaked up the atmosphere and could be seen nodding their head, tapping to the beat and joining in singing with some well known songs sang by others. A great night had by all. A huge thank you to Mrs Kelly for giving up her evening to ensure our pupils had the opportunity to shine!
