  • Taekwondo Gold Medal Winner

    Mon 31 Jan 2022

Nyah competed in a Taekwondo competition in Liverpool this weekend and was very success.  She won 2 of her matched and came home with 2 gold medals.  Nyah has proudly worn her medals to school and impressed me by demonstrating some of the moves (I kept a safe distance away!)

Taekwondo is a Korean form of martial arts, characterised by punching and kicking techniques, with emphasis on head-height kicks, jumping spinning kicks, and fast kicking techniques.

A huge well done Nyah, we are all very proud of you!

Well done to our Year 6 pupils who have completed the Level 2 Bikeability training.  They went out on the roads and showed how safe they were with traffic, as well as having a good understanding on the road.  You should all be proud of this achievement.

  • Playground Developments - Update

Thu 06 Jan 2022 Miss Priddle

How exciting!  Despite the fact we had a small amount of sleet this afternoon, the playground team were on-site starting work on the playground markings.  Here is a sneaky peek!  We are delighted with what we have seen so far and cannot wait to see the finished work.  It has been fascinating seeing the workmen apply the markings!

  • STAFF VS CHILDREN FOOTBALL MATCH

    Wed 05 Jan 2022

On the 17th of December, our annual staff vs kids football match took place. It was a great game played with tremendous spirit which saw the staff come out as 3-2 winners. Player of the match was Hari. Player of the match for the staff was Mr Ross (Captain) with 2 fine goals. Well done to all involved and what a great atmosphere by all the children watching. A special thanks to Nick Robb for coming and refereeing.
