• BASKETBALL TEAM START THE NEW YEAR WITH 100% RECORD IN TACK AFTER 2 MORE LEAGUE MATCHES

  Tonight the OBS basketball team went to All Hallows Primary School in Gedling, who were wonderful hosts to us all, and played two matches. In the first game they won against Robin Hood with a score of 26-9, and in the second game played against the hosts All Hallows winning 19-3! Congratulations to Maja, Kyhannah, Chris and Mason B who all had their debut performances for the school team tonight - you did brilliantly! Referee Jimmy 'Jumpshot' Smith praised the entire team at the end for not only their excellent individual skill and outstanding team interplay, but for their attitude, leadership and encouragement towards one another! A very PROUD coach and a FANTASTIC start to the weekend! Mrs Shaw

  

• PUPIL PROUD TREE

  HAPPY NEW YEAR! During Monday's 'Welcome Back' assembly I introduced the children to our new PUPIL PROUD TREE! The leaves of the tree are to be filled out by pupils who have been challenged to nominate one another for their work, attitude and effort around our school! It was lovely to see today, before I read and share them all in Honours Assembly this afternoon, that so many leaves where already on the tree! Well done to our pupils for taking the lead on recognising the achievements of others!
