Y5&6 ATHELTICS TEAM STORM IN TO THE CITY FINALS
Fri 07 Oct 2022A huge congratulations to the y5&6 athletics team who yesterday competed at Harvey Hadden in the Indoor Sports Hall Athletics City Heats. Winning all 12 relay races over a number of distances and completing 6 field event disciplines with tremendous sportsmanship, determination and talent! PROUD!

Recognition Time 6.10.22
Thu 06 Oct 2022I had the pleasure of hosting this week's recognition time with those pupils who have gone 'above and beyond' during the week. We had examples of pupils being helpful, independent and hard workers, as well as showing the skills needed to be a good friend. Jude and Nico also joined us but their First Aid training called them back to class before the photo!

BLACK HISTORY MONTH LAUNCH
Mon 03 Oct 2022Today we launched Black History Month at OBS. Mrs Thomas held assembly (please see slideshow below) and talked to the children about their optional holiday homework based on 'My Hero- unsung or famous'. The children can be as creative as they like and can sing the praises of anyone who has been influential to them or to society as a whole. After the holidays on Monday 31st October, we will displaying the work for all to see alongside some of the work they have done in school.

A special well done to Edie, Umair, Samuel and Saluf for earning a £2 PROUD POUND Cheque each after being awarded this weeks running clubs: Greatest improver, Strongest Resilience, Best Encourager and Most Impressive Runner of the week!
